I have started-up Compassion for the Afflicted to raise funds to build a beautiful, gracious, healing place/sanctuary where the mentally-afflicted can go to receive healing in a Christian , peaceful environment that represents God and Jesus’ amazing love for them and surrounds them with Jesus-loving people prepared to minister and counsel and walk with them in their journey back to wholeness and well-being. The vision that God and Jesus have given to me of this place is very precisely detailed, and I have made a list of all of the resources and supplies that are needed on www.compassionfortheafflicted.org, where you can also donate funds for the building of this place/ministry. All donations, no matter the size, will make a difference and will be greatly appreciated. I can not say enough how greatly places such as this ministry are needed in our nation and in the state of Iowa where I currently reside and have plans to build the first Compassion for the Afflicted sanctuary, once funding is secured. The mentally-afflicted are some of the most marginalized, poorly-treated people in our health care system, and they deserve a place/sanctuary/refuge to go to like the one I describe in Compassion for the Afflicted. If you would like to donate any supplies and/or funds for the building of this sanctuary/ministry please email me or leave a comment in the comments section of this post. The mentally-afflicted are some of the most overlooked and poorly-served people in our healthcare system, and the places/hospitals that exist for them to go to are not, by any means, gracious, healing, peaceful places that foster healing and restoration. That is why I started-up Compassion for the Afflicted to provide a refuge/sanctuary where the mentally-afflicted can heal through the grace and love of God and Jesus-loving Christians. If you would take the time to read my vision for this place/ministry on www.compassionfortheafflicted.com, I would greatly appreciate it. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.
